They don't WANT you to vote.

Paul Weyrich(wikipedia link), ... one of the core, foremost conservative Republicans --- father of the right-wing movement and co-founder of the Heritage Foundation --- said to a church prior to an election:
“Now many of our Christians have what I call the goo-goo syndrome — good government. They want everybody to vote. I don’t want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down."(audio link of quote)
Wow. He really puts it out there doesn't he? These people really don't believe in democracy... Look up this guy's quotes and you'll find all kinds of anti-gay and anti-semetic rants spoken to the applause of right-wing audiences. Nice.

Oh wait, look at this:
Wikipedia: In 1996, Weyrich was diagnosed with a spinal injury. Since 2001, the injury has left him in a wheelchair and in constant pain. Complications from a fall in September 2004 required the amputation of his legs in July 2005.
Hmm.... Karma?

ah hah! karma indeed. BUT! sometimes it doesn't act quickly enough... evil fuc&s [like those that have run our country into the fuc&ing ground] need to _really_ be held more accountable- PUNISHED. i'm getting tired of the "oh they'll get what's coming to them _eventually_" mentality- they need to be served their steaming bowl of comeuppance NOW!

You are right Patynode! Everyone in government should be punished. Re-elect no-one. That is the only way to bring real change.
